The Dream
The Dream is a transformation of the Arthouse stairwell. I have created a mythical plastic grass forest inspired by the Surrealist jungle paintings of French artist Henri Rousseau. Huge trees loom skyward, while tiny details of wildlife and human figures lurk in the undergrowth. I use the forest and the stairwell to explore aspects of the intimate and the immense, the inner and the outer, dream and reality.
