Arthouse Architecture has a long-standing commitment to sustainable and energy efficient design principles, supported by ongoing project-related research. We are actively involved in discussions that impact on the future of the region and the quality of its built environment.

The practice comprises two directors, David Wallace and Jorgen Andersen, together with a dedicated and experienced team of eight. Our open-plan studio is set up for designers to work creatively and collaboratively, and fosters a team approach that we carry through to our working relationships with clients and contractors.

Strong relationships we have developed with other consultants mean we are able to offer our clients an integrated and comprehensive design service.

Arthouse Architecture undertakes a wide variety of residential and commercial projects, locally and nationally. Our work ranges from very small - Takaka Toilets and the Tahunanui Barbecue, to larger commercial and community projects - Nelson Trafalgar Centre.
