Arthouse Architecture Limited

The architecture of sustainability

Arthouse Architecture Ltd was formed in 2001 when two established firms, Upstream Design Group and Min Hall Architects, merged. The practice has a long-standing commitment to sustainable and energy efficient design principles, supported by ongoing project-related research. As the largest NZIA registered practice in the Nelson Marlborough region, we are actively involved in discussions that impact on the future of the region and the quality of its built environment.

The practice now comprises three directors and nine staff. Our open-plan studio is set up for designers to work collaboratively, and fosters a team approach which we carry through to our working relationships with clients and contractors. The strong relationships we have developed with other consultants mean we are able to offer our clients an integrated and comprehensive design service.

Arthouse Architecture Ltd takes on all manner of projects, locally and nationally. Examples of our work can be viewed on this website.
